I tested the classic Fishin’ Frenzy demo to check how its core features work. This Blueprint Gaming version uses a 5x3 grid with 10 fixed paylines. Three, four or five Boat Scatters award 10, 15 or 20 Free Games, where Fisherman Wilds collect the values shown on Fish symbols in the same spin. Blueprint lists RTP configurations from 90% to 96.12%, while its current page does not state volatility or maximum win. The demo uses virtual credits, so it is useful for learning the controls without placing a real-money wager. Its results do not predict future outcomes, and the rules only match a casino game when both use the same build and RTP configuration.

Fishin’ Frenzy Slot Review
Fishin’ Frenzy is a fishing-themed video slot originally associated with Reel Time Gaming and currently listed by Blueprint Gaming. Blueprint dates its current online version to 1 November 2017, although the earlier Reel Time Gaming release is commonly dated to 2014. The game uses five reels, three rows and 10 fixed paylines. Its visual style is simple, with a fishing boat, a pelican, fishing equipment, tagged fish and the Fisherman who becomes central during Free Games.
When I checked the current provider data, the main point was the number of available RTP builds. The highest listed configuration is 96.12%, but Blueprint also provides 90%, 92%, 93% and 94% versions. A casino can therefore offer a lower RTP than the demo or another operator. RTP is a long-term theoretical percentage, not a prediction for one session. Blueprint does not publish a volatility value or a maximum win for this classic version on its current game page.

How to Play Fishin’ Frenzy
The controls in Fishin’ Frenzy are straightforward. Choose the total stake and start the spin. All 10 paylines remain active, so there is no separate line selector. Blueprint’s current GBP listing gives a total betting range of £0.20 to £500, but the available limits can change with the currency, operator and game build.
Autoplay may be available, although the exact options depend on the operator and local rules. Each spin is independently determined by a random number generator. Changing the stake, using autoplay or learning the feature rules does not alter the RNG or create a guaranteed advantage.
Paytable and Symbols
Winning combinations form from left to right on consecutive reels along one of the 10 active paylines. The Fisherman Wild and the top bird symbol can pay from two matching symbols, while the other listed symbols normally require at least three. Line wins are multiplied by the bet placed on the winning line, so the values below are line-bet multipliers.
| Symbol | Payout for 2 symbols | Payout for 3 symbols | Payout for 4 symbols | Payout for 5 symbols |
| Fisherman Wild | x1 | x10 | x50 | x500 |
| Pelican | x0.5 | x5 | x20 | x200 |
| Fishing Rod | - | x3 | x15 | x100 |
| Lifebuoy and Tackle Box | - | x2 | x10 | x50 |
| Fish | - | x1 | x5 | x20 |
| A, K, Q, J and 10 | - | x0.5 | x2.5 | x10 |
The Fisherman is the Wild and collector used during Free Games. It substitutes for regular symbols but not the Boat Scatter. The Boat is the Scatter symbol and triggers the bonus when at least three appear anywhere in view. Because providers can supply different builds, the help screen inside the version being played remains the final reference if its paytable differs.
Bonus Feature and Free Games
Three Boat Scatters award 10 Free Games, four award 15 and five award 20. During the feature, each Fisherman that lands collects the values shown on all visible Fish symbols in the same spin. The referenced official help build states that Free Games cannot retrigger.
Free Games use the same active lines and stake as the triggering spin, without taking an additional stake for each awarded spin. The results are still random, so triggering the feature does not guarantee a profit or a specific return.
Win Gamble
Fishin’ Frenzy also includes Win Gamble after eligible winning spins. The player can guess the colour of a hidden card and double the amount placed into the gamble after a correct choice. An incorrect choice loses that amount. This optional feature adds risk and does not improve the mathematical advantage of the game.
Demo Mode
I use the demo to check the controls, paylines and bonus rules before considering any real-money version. The demo on this page uses virtual credits and does not produce withdrawable winnings. It is useful for learning how the game works, but a short demo session cannot show the long-term RTP or predict future results.
The demo and a casino version should only be described as equivalent when both use the same game build and RTP configuration. A casino may provide a lower RTP build or different operator settings, even when the title and graphics look the same.
Summary
Fishin’ Frenzy suits players who prefer a simple 5x3 slot with fixed paylines and a clear collector feature during Free Games. The Fisherman mechanic and optional Win Gamble add variety without making the rules difficult to follow. It is less suitable for players looking for adjustable paylines, retriggering Free Games, Megaways or Bonus Buy, since those features are not part of the classic 10-line version.
